FLOWERS AND STYLING
Amy and Bradley

I was recommended to Amy by a former Folklore bride (is there a better recommendation?). My brief was to create a "big, messy" tangle of a bouquet (is there a better brief?). The vibrant colours are a perfect reflection of Amy's sunny personality. Amy and Bradley are a fun, relaxed and not super traditional couple (note bridesmaid in a pants suit - love!) so we decided on an eclectic mix of natives - flowering gum and everlasting daisies - and late summer garden roses, dahlias and delphiniums. We continued the couples fun vibe through to the reception styling. It was held at On The Pier, which provided a gorgeous scenic backdrop from which to contrast the vivid florals. We kept the table flowers to minimum and instead created little installations around the venue, from the swag at the end of the pier - which hung above the couple as they said their vows - to an eclectic mix of blooms clustered at the corner of the bar. Sharon - baker of the best cakes - did a beautiful job of keeping the theme, topping her naked cake with leftover blooms.
"Everything Nicole did for our wedding was amazing! Her attention to detail makes everything perfect. The flowers were my favourite part of the day." Amy Ferguson
